Blue Daisy Nails

​These nails are super summery, take only a few minutes to complete and are really customisable. You could add different colour accent nails, make the flowers multi-coloured, mix up the colour scheme, add glitter or paint animals or words over the top. I took inspiration from Deviant Art.

As per-usual i prepped my nails by washing my hands well and then letting them dry, pushed back my cuticles and then added a base coat. When that was all done i added a sky blue to all my nails, for once the accent comes from the pattern of the daisies on the top and not any accent colours.

Once that was dry i added a quick dry top coat and then took the largest dotting tool i could find, and did several dots on a circle using white, then i dragged the dots into the centre to from a daisy. I repeated this allover the middle and thumb nail in various sizes. I also painted some down one side of the ring finger nail.

Then i took a very small dotting tool and filled the gaps between the daisies with dots and continued the pattern down the side of the ring nail. To finish the daisies i put a small dot of orange at each of their centres. Finally i sealed everything in with a glossy top coat.

After i had worn these nails to my grandmothers birthday i wore then camping with my family, we call this Slugfest, so i wrote slugfest over all of my nails and painted several small slugs on each of my thumb nails!
