For Brontes birthday, i wanted to get her some thing personal and cute. After many hours surfing Pintrest i finally realised that i wanted to sew her a stuffed Bronte-saurus!

First i found a pattern online after a while of searching and being unable to find a free dinosaur pattern(https://welivedhappilyeverafter.com/diy-long-neck-dino/)!I scaled the pattern down as i did not want to make a giant dinosaur. Then i picked out my material, my friend who i was making it for is very minimalist. Therefor i picked a fabric with minimal pattern and colours but still held some interest, i paired it with an complementing navy fabric for the feet. I then cut out my pattern adding a 1cm seam allowance as i used a sewing machine.

Next i took the two side pieces, right sides together, and pinned then sewed from tail to chest. i laid the belly pattern onto the sided to see where to stop sewing on the chest.

Next i placed the belly pattern between the side pieces and pinned one side and sewed it all of the way along. Then i pinned the other side but left the tail open so there is a space to stuff.

Then i needed to sew on the feet. i tried to sew them on with the sewing machine but the circle was too small and fiddly so i decided to hand sew the feet onto the body.

Then i turned the dinosaur inside-out and stuffed the dinosaur and sewed up the tail.

I then drew in the dinosaurs eyes and moth with a black pen, i also created a birthday card the complemented the dinosaur theme.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRONTE-SAURUS!! HAVE A ROARSOME BIRTHDAY!
